Hello everyone!
Today I faced with the problem of Cisco ASA disk error.
I have version 9.4.1 image on Act/Stndb ASA configuration. After upgrade from version 9.0.4 time to time I can't connect to ASA via ASDM.
I did short investigation and I see a probem with disk0:
ASA-Firewall# dir
Directory of disk0:/
%Error opening disk0:/ (Too many open files)
8238202880 bytes total (570736640 bytes free)
I don't see a file system
Also I cant save my configuration:
ASA-Firewall# wr
Building configuration...
Cryptochecksum: 490edde9 492ddc52 75887db8 4f73f941
%Error opening disk0:/.private/startup-config (Too many open files)
Error executing command
[FAILED]
After reboot everything is OKey. I can see filesystem and I can work with ASA. After reboot I see a files FSCK0000.REC, FSCK0001.REC, FSCK0002.REC,FSCK0003.REC,FSCK0004.REC,FSCK0005.REC
I found an articles that it can be a disk problem, but after reboot device will use FSCK utility and everything will be OKey. But, my problem repeted againe.
Please help me to solve this issue.
Regards,
Maxim
