Cisco ASA as MLD querier

Hi,

is it correct that the cisco asa can't be a mld querier?

I've enabled mld snooping on my backbone but without a querier in each vlan it makes no sense

Any chance to get better mld support in the next firmware release?

The ASA won't support sending of mld queries until IPv6 Multicast is supported. I don't see any plans for this in the immediate future. If this is something you require, I suggest communicating this to your Cisco account team or partner.

ok, I've opened a case.. just mld querier support would be nice
