Cisco ASA FTD vs Firepower. How to check type by CLI ?

HI all.
I'm working on tools which will be automatically connect to Cisco devices using SSH.
In https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/command_ref/b_Command_Reference_for_Firepower_Threat_Defense/using_the_FTD_CLI.pdf i have found that:
for ASA Series devices—The CLI on the Console port is the regular FTD CLI
for Firepower Series devices—The CLI on the Console port is FXOS. You can get to the FTD CLI using the connect ftd command.

How can i get to which series current device belong from ssh ? And should i execute "connect ftd" command to get FTD CLI or it's not required and i'm already in it ?
Maybe i can get this information from "show model" or "show version" command ? Or any other options ?

Thanks.
