Hi All,
I request some of the experienced poeple to share their experience they had with cisco ASA. Can some one help me with the below list,
ASA 5505 - With all services enabled ( how many users it can support )
Without enabling services ( how many users it can support )
ASA 5510 - With CSC-10 module services enabled ( how many users it can support )
Without enabling services ( how many users it can support )
For ASA 5510 - There is an CSC-500 users license option available, does that mean it can support up to 500 users with that 300 Mbps throughput it has or the concurrent sessions are the one which helps firewall to scale ?
Kindly share your views Pls!
Thanks,
Madhan

Hi Madhan,
User restriction license is only on ASA 5505. The 5510 I dont think it does. What you see there for nodes, is for CSC module which is a trend micro module that filter http, mail and other scanning services for threat detection, not for inside host users.
The ASA 5505 does on the other hand has user restrictions 10, 50 and unlimited. You may want to check the following docs,
ASa bundle,
