Cisco ASA5516-x firesight firepower

Hi Experts,

I have an ASA5516-X with protection and control license installed. I am managing it via ASDM but the issue is that Firesight Recommendation option is not showing up (in ASDM) in the intrusion policy. why?

I am unable to download the rules and update them., it gives me a connectivity error eventhough internet is working fine for SFR.

Hello Haitham,

Please verify if the following ports and urls have been opened for the successful update.

There was a known issue last week where the SRU automatic update failure , but now this has been fixed.

Hi Jetsy,

Appreciate your support, but it didn't work even though I create an access control policy which allows everything from outside to inside.

what could be the issue?? I have installed the license of the control/protection.

do I have to have a service contract to update the  rules??
