Cisco Firepower 2110 Upgrade - with Virtual ASA - Upgrade path?

Hi, I am wanting to upgrade my Cisco Firepower 2110 but I need advice on the upgrade path.

Currently I am using the Cisco Firepower Chassis - when I type "Show Version" in the command line I have the following result; 

Version: 2.8(1.108)

Startup-Vers: 2.8(1.108)

The Virtual ASA CLI "show version" result is

Cisco Adaptive Security appliance Software Version 9.14(1)10

SSP Operating System Version 2.8(1.108)

Device Manager Version 7.14(1)

Please can someone advise how I can upgrade the Firepower Chassis Device?

My plan is to upgrade the "cisco-asa-fp2k.9.14.2.8.SPA"

Hi,

The firepower chassis is bundled with the application you use in 2100.

"For the Firepower 2100 in 9.12 and earlier, only Platform mode is available. In 9.13 and later, Appliance mode is the default. Check the mode by using the show fxos mode command at the ASA CLI." Taken from link below:

Thanks for this, very useful information but I still need to determine the upgrade path. Can you help with that?

I have the options to upgrade to cisco-asa-fp2k.9.14.2.8 .spaor cisco-asa-fp2k.9.15.1.10.spa

Also my firepowers are not connected to the internet to download, i have to upload the upgrade file

The recommended release is currently 9.14.2(13). File name "cisco-asa-fp2k.9.14.2.13.SPA".

Download it here:

https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286312080/type/280775065/release/9.14.2%20Interim

..and then upload to your 2110.

As Marvin already mentioned, you can use the recommended file "cisco-asa-fp2k.9.14.2.13.SPA". To ans your question regarding the upgrade path.

This will be a direct upgrade as your device is already on 9.14(1)10
