Cisco FTD, interface configuration

Hi,

I did an inital setup of FTD in VMware but I can't seem to configure the IP and/or enable the interfaces in CLI. How do I enable and configure the IP through FTD CLI (I access this through VMware webconsole and not via SSH).

You won't see the configuration for the data interfaces until you configure them via the FMC.

The only interface you can configure on the CLI is the management interface, use the command "show network" to confirm the configuration and "configure network....." to configure the mgmt interface settings.

Only the management interface can be configured through the CLI, all other data interfaces need to be configured through GUI
