Cisco IDSM/IPS signature issue

For Cisco IDSM2 module in cisco 6500 switch, the latest available signature version is

IPS-sig-S479-req-E3.pkg in cisco website. I have applied the same in the device which is running 7.(0)1 E3.

It worked fine for some days & now its showing that signature is out of date.But there is no next available signature available.

Anybody has faced the same issue before..?

Higher level (later) signature updates require the E4 engine update.  To get the E4 engine update, you'll need to go to a more recent s/w version.  The latest 7.0 version is 7.0(6)E4 and the latest signature update (for E4 engine) is S607.
