Cisco Newbie Desperate VPN not authenticating on Win 2K Domain

I am having trouble sorting through all the information on VPN and PIX 506e firewalls. I have a Windows 2000 server domain controller behind a PIX 506e firewall. When I install the VPN Client software on a remote Windows XP workstation I can get through the firewall, log on to the domain, and access network resources until I log off. Once logged off then back on, the PIX acceppts my PIX user id and password, the dc accepts my domain user id and password, but I am then denied access to mapped drives, network resources, etc.

Am I suppose to set something up in my Windows 2000 security policies, or anywhere in Windows 2000 server, to accomodate remote access through the PIX.

Any and all help appreciated.
