Cisco Pix 515E - FO

Is there a way to wipe a 515e clean and get ride of the Failover Only license and just have a basic licesne loaded? I got this off of ebay and I guess I missed where it said Failover Only, and I would really like to use it.

Hi,

Heres some information about PIX licensing.

I'd imagine you would need to get a license(activation key) to get the PIX to be Restricted or Unrestricted.

I suspect you have to purchase this from some 3rd party. Maybe someone else on these forums can give you the specifics

Is there a basic free license I could use?  I really don't want to buy any new license since it EOL, the current license is FO-Only...Can I wipe it clean and load a basic IOS on it to clear the FO-Only?
