Configuration migration from FortiGate to Cisco Firepower appliance

Hello,

I plan to migrate from a FortiGate firewall to a Cisco Firepower appliance.

Are there any configuration migration tool or has anyone heard about any kind of solution how to convert the configuration file?

Any ideas are welcome :)

FMC exposes a REST API to create access-control-policies and objects. A migration tool has been written for partners to migrate asa and juniper config to FTD configuration but thats about it as far as I know.

I guess your best bet would be writting a script to get objects and rules out of fortinet and import into FMC using the rest api.

Hi,

Just one more thing that might be helpful. Version 6.2 has been released for firepower yesterday which enhanced the API to include a call to create interfaces, which might be useful for migration tools.
