Configure VPN PIX 515 to Enable Local LANs for Clients

I am connecting to a PIX 515 via windows / Linux Cisco VPN clients, however when I connect to the VPN my local LAN is disabled. I have checked the option to allow local LAN access when connected to the VPN however I am still locked out. After doing some research it appears I need to also set this configuration at the PIX 515, however I can't seem to find out how this is done in detail.

Thanks,

-John

I guess you may have to configure access-list that will define the type of traffic to encryprt at the pix firewall and apply it to the crypto map. Not sure if there is anything else to be configured.

Here is a sample configuration for PIX and VPN clients, might help you out;

Hi John,

You'll have to configure split tunnelling on the PIX 515 which will allow you to access the Local Lan and the internet when connected to the VPN

You can find this information in the sample config at

Thanks
