Configuring a Transparent Proxy on FWSM

Hello All,

Can anyone help. I want to configure a transparent proxy on my FWSM. So that when users are  connected to the network through the FWSM  they will automatically use the proxy server without manually configuring it on their internet browser.

Once they make an HTTP request there will be a redirect rule on the FWSM taking the users straight to the proxy server on a particular port.

Help will be appreciated i have worked on it still no way forward.

Hi,

FWSM can do proxy authentication but it cannot redirect traffic to a proxy-server.

It would be possible to set this up with an ASA and WCCP but this is not supported on the FWSM and there is AFAIK no plan to have this added in the near future.
