Confused about licences

I'm a little bit confused about the PIX 515 licences. I have two PIX FW in my stock, one of them is supposed to be a failover firewall.

My problem is that both FW are showing the same output during startup, there is nowhere an identifier regarding the failover.

Secondly, I' m able to boot the FW independently.

Any thoughts ?

I have worked with failover 515's before and was not able to boot it independently - in fact it gave a message that it must boot with a primary.

Do a "sh ver" in both to see license info.
