Could PIX Firewall be used as Layer-3 router

We have PIX 515E. I wonder if it can be used as layer-3 router.

pix can do static routing and run a couple of dynamic protocols too, like rip & ospf.. so, logically it can do layer 3 routing.. but it doesnt have all the features associated with a normal router, like source based routing etc.. qos is being introduced in V7.0 which is a big plus point..
