While researching and developing automation around the firepower REST API there seem to be a problem creating Access Policies that inherits another policy.
When creating a policy
(POST to https://{fmc_IP_or_name}:{https_port}/api/fmc_config/v1/domain/{domain_UUID}/policy/accesspolicies), and adding some sort of metadata with inherit referance, the POST will always fail with code 422, unprocessable entity.
I cannot find much documentation around this and have been leaning heavily on the API explorer within the FMC and try/fail methods so far.
Is a simple policy inheritance not within the functional scope of the REST API or am I missing something?
