Hello, I'm using ISR4321 SEC model for VPN currently.
I have some questions about {crypto isakmp key 6 password} command.
Using 6, does peers exchange their key after encrypting? Or it just seems to be encrypted when user types {show run} command?
I want to know what actually secure type 6 does.
And, there are several options using {crypto isakmp key} command like 0, 6, WORD. What is the difference between 6 and WORD?
Also, If i use option WORD not 6, is there any chance of security hazard?

Hi @SGY_4567
These types (0,6) are only for local use only like you said above, they instruct the device that how to save the secret in config rather than just plain text.
