CSA-MC ActiveX Report Viewer

Our management console (CiscoWorks 2.2) will not generate reports using the ActiveX option, but will display the reports using HTML. Has anyone else run into this problem? The Crystal server components don't appear to be installed correctly. Looking for a solution that does NOT involve a full reinstall of VMS.

You are hitting bug CSCed17183. Here is the work around:

Could you ensure that the name in the URL used to access the VMS server is the same as the one specified in the httpd.conf file. The path to this file is c:\\Program Files\CSCOpx\MDC\Apache\conf (where c is the drive where you installed vms). Look near the bottom for a line starting with "SERVERNAME" .

If you browse by this name you will be able to generate ActiveX reports.

If you want you can edit the name. but be sure to stop the all VMS/CSA services edit then restart.
