CSA MC upgrade license

We purchased CSA-START-6.0-K9. We did not install anything yet. Now we want to use agent 6.0.1, not just 6.0. I believe there are two possible scenarios:

1. Install 6.0 and then upgrade it to 6.0.1. In such a case, will the upgrade use the same old license or it will require a new one?

2. Install a fresh copy of 6.0.1. In this case will the 6.0 license work with it?

the license file will work fine with either an upgrade 6.0 to 6.0.1 or a freshly installed 6.0.1. I have 5.2 licenses that work fine with a freshly installed 6.0.1
