After installing a CSC SSM for our ASA 5510 I noticed in the SMTP configuration screen that I could not not accept smtp messages over 50 mb. Am I correct on this? We regularly get valid smtp messages over 50 mb. If that is the case then the smtp part of the csc ssm is useless to me.

From the information I have a bug has been raised with Cisco for bypassing larger Emails. and the bug number is CSCsj71797. Hoping to find a workaround soon.

Hi ethutchinson, do you still have this issue?
As i can see in the configuration screen you can accept smtp messages up to 100M. If you really need to accept bigger messages, you can setup the MPF to bypass some Email servers from the csc scanning. Anyway Messages of that size are a big load to your email server and maybe will be better to use another service for the file transfer.
