CSICO FTD/FMC IPS

Hi All,

I have an issue with IPS on FMC. I have already added the IPS license into the FTD, but when I try to create a new access policy and add an intrusion policy, I receive the following error:

“This rule requires an IPS license, but at least one template does not have an IPS license.”

I couldn’t find any option to assign the IPS license to the template.
Please advise how to resolve this?

Hi,

thanks for your reply,
it already added the licenses, 

I try to remove the IPS licenses from the FTD, and get 2 error message which is device and template missing IPS License.

I belive the license is working fine with the FTD, but i don't know where i can add the license into tempate.
and that only option to choses IPS template

Oh, I found the issue. I was using Template Management and added it into the ACP. I deleted the template, and now it’s working fine.
