CSM 4.0.1: recommendation for interface names

Hi,

I'm quite fresh to csm and would like to know what is the best way to use interface names with CSM. We have in the past used a naming scheme but this naming scheme does apparently not fit into CSM which kind of mandates the use of outside and inside.

On our contexts we have used fwsm-context-<name> for internal and fwsm-vlan-<name> for external. And now we have issues with CSM.

What are you doing? What is the best approach?

You can set interface names as you want. CSM has inside and outside roles pre-configured. But when you are setting up an interface you can name it differently. Can you check under the interfaces in CSM to find and edit an existing interface name?
