CW2000 logs to dmgtd.log.0, not dmgtd.log

We use CW2000 (LMS2.2) on Solaris 7. To prevent logfiles from becoming too large, we once a week stop CW2000, backup all CW2000 logfiles by copying *.log to *.log.0, create a new empty logfile *.log with owner casuser and access rights rw-rw----, and restart CW2000. This works OK except for dmgtd.log: the new dmgtd.log remains empty and CW2000 continues logging to dmgtd.log.0, even after a system reboot. Any suggestions?

Not a supported way. Instead use LogRot from: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=25401&package_id=79001 which works way better.
