I have what I hope is a stupid question. In the past I had a windows server doing my DHCP and now I am moving that to my new ASA 5510 firewall. In the past if I wanted to look up who was given an IP I was able to see what comptuer name was given what IP. I cant seem to find this on the ASA. I have some log entries that dont look right and I want to know who is doing it but all I have is their IP. On the ASA how do I lookup what PC was given that IP?
Thanks

Sorry but the DHCP server in the pix is pretty limited you'll only be able to get the mac address that it was assigned to.
sh dhcpd binding
sh dhcpd statistics

Does anyone know of a utility that will tell me the hostname or from the mac or IP?

Hello,
Angry IP Sanner is a great little utility for finding ip address's and associates it to computer names. Very fast and very small.
