So here is the jist,
I have a ASA5505 that i have running asdm 6.4 on it and have tried setting up some DHCP scopes for the interfaces.
I have the security plus key.
I set up 4 interfaces all with different subnets and all with different DHCP being doled out by the firewall for the timebeing.
Anyway, 3 of the 4 work.
I have tried to change interfaces wondering if there was an issue with that phy device.
I tried enableing the subnet that would not work first and it didnt matter still would not issue dhcp.
the other 3 work fine.
Is there a limitation to the amount of scopes that will issue dhcp for an asa5505 ?
Thanks.

Hi,
You should be able to configure DHCP on every interface of the ASA
Only thing that comes to mind fast regarding the ASA5505 model specifically is that it might have a licensed user limit and therefore might not let you configure large DHCP pools.
Though I think it should warn of this.
Can you share the interface and DHCP configurations?

thats the liscensing that i have.
As far as the networks.
lets say they are as follows
10.10.5.0/24-Service net
10.20.5.0/24 - DB net
192.168.5.0/24 - Internal
and the one that doe not work
172.16.5.0/24 Outside
I did not follow the standard on addressing i was just creating some lab envrionments but still didnt htink i would be limited.
