Could anyone please kindly list out the differences between the Restricted License and Un-restricted License of PIX 515 (or alike, 525 and 535)?
I look through the Cisco website, but can't find detail about that, besides that UR is a must for Failover feature. PIX501 licensing clearly states the number of users being supported.
Many thanks.

As I understand it, the PIX used to enforce connection counts based on your license size. The PIX no longer enforces this count based on connections, now licensing is based on features. Failover, IPSEC, etc. The folks at licensing@cisco.com should be able to clarify anything I missed.
