Does Cisco have any sort of an advisory or notifications when new release of the IOS addresses new vulnerability issues?

Dear all,

As you may know the new IOS releases are not necessarily tied up to the currently discovered vulnerabilities as the new releases are not frequent

(I guess they are released quarterly).

Do you know if Cisco has any advisory or notification system capable of providing updates when the new IOS

released to address the vulnerability issues?

I appreciate your input on this subject.

Every advisory are tracked on a product with a bug ID, you can save a bug ID and keep on getting update for when it is going to have a fix, if not already.
