Does Cisco stopped the VM version of Cisco Secure workload

We have been communicating with a Cisco partner and he said to us that the VM version of Cisco Secure Workload is no longer available. Please confirm me if that is the case. In our case instead of the cloud we prefer the on premise deployment.

Confirmed - they are correct.

CSW (former Tetration product) is offered either as cloud-based Software as as Service (SaaS) or on premise. For the on premise option, there are only two versions, both hardware based:

CSW Platform (large form factor) includes 26 UCS C220 servers and 3 Nexus 9300 platform switches.

CSW-M (small form factor) includes 6 UCS C220 servers and 3 Nexus 9300 platform switches.

Are they the same interms of  functionality the cloud and the on premise or there are differences?

Functionally they are equivalent.

Of course, for SaaS, any product upgrades and handled automatically by Cisco.

Also, if your workloads are being managed from the cloud, you would need the required access via VPN or direct connect / express route etc.
