Download speed decreased after ASA installed.

Hi Guys,

Our internet speed is 20 Mbs but after installed the ASA the download speed and sometimes upload decreased to 2 Mbs, what is the problem? and how can I solve it?

Hi Saeed,

Few things you can check..

1. Errors or drops on LAN side interface.

2. Any errors or drops on Outside interface ( you may need to work with provider and try to hardcode the duplex/speed settings).

3. The low speeds are constant or only during heavy user traffic.

4.Any high cpu utilization on ASA.
