Yes, the command line would be "ip address outside dhcp setroute"
Also, if you are using the Pix 506E to assign DHCP leases to the machines behind it, you might also want to use the "dhcpd auto_config outside" command. This will pass information such as the ISP's DNS servers to the client machines via DHCP.

is the command actually "ip address outside dhcp setroute" are does set route need to be replaced with something else?

If the outside interface receives a dynamic address, then the 'setroute' parameter is required in order for the device to know where it should send next hop packets. Although it is possible to manually set the route, it doesn't make sense to do it that way since the next hop could possibly change.
