Error when using wr mem

Hi everyone,

I got a strange problem, on my FWSM, when i use the command wr mem i get a error, any one seen this befor ??

ipmsap/act# wr mem

Building configuration...

Cryptochecksum: xxx

%Error copying flash:/startup-config (Cannot overwrite image (asdm) file with ascii text file.)

Error executing command

[FAILED]

ipmsap/act#

The configuration i don just after session slot X processor 1

is this in failover ?

if yes,

issue a wr erase first and afterwards " wr mem "

Yes the firewall is one part of failover setup, but it is the primary in the failover,

the error was first seen after a password recovery attemt.

please make the other unit primary,do a wr erase on this one.one the config. is replicated,then do a " wr mem " .
