Factory defaults on a pix 515e

Does anyone know how to reset a PIX-515E to its factory default? I've tried "config factory-default", but I get an error saying that the command isn't supported in the 515E. PDM has an option in the file menu, but it seems to give the same command because it gets the same error.

Hello !

On the PIX 501 and PIX 506/506E, the configure factory-default command reinstates the factory default configuration. (This command is not supported on other PIX Firewall platforms at this time.)

If you have pix-515E, you would not be able to use configure factory-default command. However you can try the following command, note it would erase the pix configuration permanently. Ensure that you have the backup configuration file.

wr erase

reload Comments: it would reload your pix firewall.

You can't do 'factory-default' on 515 models, only on 501/506
