Feature license expiring and preventing changes

A customer has a feature license that is getting ready to expire on a Firepower managed by FTD, and we were told by our reseller that when the feature licenses do expire, changes can no longer be made to the configuration. Is this really the case? Thanks

Threat Defense Malware Protection License
Threat Defense Threat Protection License
Threat Defense Threat Protection License

Yes, your reseller is correct. Any configured settings using those features will be prevented from deploying when the licenses expire.
