File HA state not found

We have Access to Cisco Firepower Management Center and Firepower Threat Defense version 7.2.0 

When we try to register a key to establish the connection between FTD and FMC, We are getting the below error in FTD, 

File HA_State not found. 

Because of which we are not able to add any Managers. Please find the attached Image for reference. 

Could you please let us know the changes to make in FTD to setup a Manager and Registration key.

I hope both are the same version of the code. how did they connect in the same LAN? or a different network?
