Hi there...

Really need some help in my case, here´s the situation :

I bought a Firepower 1120 without SSD. I bought an officiel SSD from cisco FPR1K-SSD200, I thought the FTD Soft would be already on it, but the SSD contain nothing, also NEW. I need to reimage it with FTD, but i don´t know really how, because when I start the FW I´m in Rommon through the Console. Could I reimage the SSD through ROMMON ?

I connect my Notebook directly to the FW, I wanted to try to get Magement GUI but tried some IP like 192.168.45.45 but no success. When I try to plug in Ethernet 1/1 or 1/2, there´s no activity, I can´t log through these ports.

what can I do to go forward with it.

thanks

@Poisson Rouge refer to the cisco reimage guide which has the steps to reimage from ROMMON mode - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/firepower-1000-series/220642-reimage-a-secure-firewall-threat-defense.html OR https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/reimage/asa-ftd-reimage.html#task_zv5_4m5_rgb

Until you install the FTD image you won't be able to connect to the mgmt GUI IP address.

You'll obviously need entitlement in order to download the latest software from the cisco website. Ensure you also install the latest patch.
