Hi,

what is the advantage of firepower2100 over asa 5500-X?

what is the main difference between cisco security appliances such as firepower 4100,9300,2100,asa 5500-X?

They are completely different models. It depends on what you want and the
size of deployment.

I won't go for ASA5500-X at this point of time unless its small deployment
as I am sure Cisco will be suspending ASA soon once FTD picks up strongly
in the market.
