Firepower 2110 FDM (Unable to ACCESS GUI)

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to deploy firepower 2110 version 6.3, when go through the initial steps i.e. changing management IP address and setting it to local management. Then I  unable to GUI (HTTPS). But yes I can PING and SSH. 

 

anybody faced the same issue?

Normally we would run a current version like 6.6.4 or later.

That said, it the initial setup is done and it is configured for local management ("show managers"), we would normally expect the web UI to be reachable. As long as there isn't an https-access-list set to prevent it. ("show https-access-list" to confirm).

I think what you are trying to saying is, since I have changed the MGMT interface IP address and this need to be added in the HTTPS access-list is that what your mean? I will check this out tomorrow. and will update accordingly.

There is no https-access-list by default. I just mentioned it as something to check that would explain what you are encountering.

The more common explanation is the one I mentioned first - that local management (FDM = the GUI)  is not completely or correctly enabled.

Yes, the local management is configured properly.. 

Was a resolution found for this issue ? I have the same problem, but it is on a different model of Firepower.

Give us your basics - what model, what software version, has it ever worked, output of "show managers" from cli, etc.

had the same problem with chrome browser, entering just the IP address, but was able to access adding "https:"
