I've been combing through the community sites for the past couple of weeks looking for others who are sharing experiences with the new 6.6.0 code. For the most part, I have been unsuccessful and wanted to share my own.
I've got multiple Firepower deployments, one of which has some tolerance for testing so I upgraded it to the 6.6.0 code shortly after its release. I also brought the FMCv up to the same version. The following two issues have been experienced so far:
1. When an access control policy has an SSL policy defined, I observed significantly reduced bandwidth to selective sites/services. Microsoft Azure Site Recovery was the service that first got my attention. Removing the SSL policy from the ACP policy does not resolved the issue, I must create a new ACP and assign to the device to see the bandwidth restored. The hardware in this specific instance is an 1120. A TAC case is currently open for this issue.
2. I have observed my FMC backups going from roughly 2 GBs in size to a fluctuating 9 - 12 GBs in size.
Has anyone else dived into 6.6.0 yet and have any complications? For those in the know, I am also curious on the release of 6.6.0.1?
Thanks,
Brandon
