FirePower failure triggers Asa failover

How can the failure of the FirePower in an active Asa be monitored such that the Asa will failover to the standby Asa with the remaining functional FirePower module. Otherwise the traffic will continue to pass through the active Asa with the failed FirePower.

Thanks

Hi,
By default asa monitors the software or hardware module installed on ASA untill it has been disabled manually on ASA with "no monitor-interface { if_name | service-module }” This command works from version 9.3.1 and before that there was not way to disable this monitoring. And in case the module goes down it consider that specific unit as unhealthy and fails over to Another(standby) unit.

Thanks Akshay,

will give that a try.
