Firepower FTP change IP on physical managment port?

Hello all,

In the Firepower Management Center Configuration Guide I read that to change the management interface you use the command: configure network or Devices > Device Management > Devices > Management

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/640/configuration/guide/fpmc-config-guide-v64/interface_overview_for_firepower_threat_defense.html#concept_82E7B2809759488694BB34A162FC20C4

From my understanding this is the in-band management for the FMC to communicate to the FTD.

What I am looking for is how do I change the Out-of-Band physical ethernet management port in the front of the FTD (far left) that is separate from the other ports on the firewall?

Any insight is appreciated.

Thank you,

J

From how you describe it, you appear to be referencing the management interface for the chassis on a 4100 or 9300 series. Can you confirm your model number?

In any case, that is generally configured from the fxos cli. Here are detailed instructions:

@jjevans1 your screen shot shows that you are logged into the FTD management system and on the clish (command line interface shell) prompt. You need to log into the Firepower chassis management IP and be in the FX-OS cli to use the scope command.

For some reason I do not see the scope command? How do I get that command option?

Thank you Marvin. Very insightful as always.
