Firepower IPS hdd replacement?

Hi,

In an emergency situation where a firepower device has a corrupted drive. Is it possible to use a physically compatible drive as a replacement instead of ordering a direct replacement from Cisco or vendors?

recommended way is to get replacement from RMA process. if you done any manual alternations, it will void the warranty/support.

In past we had a SSD gone faulty we tried non cisco SSD it did not work for us. So we have to do the RMA to cisco and get a Cisco approved SSD and it start working (This was year 2019).
