That task is for switching away from using ASDM. Once it completes you will only be able to manage from Firepower Management Center (FMC).

Once you register with FMC you cannot view details via ASDM. You need to login to FMC to get the SFR details.

Ok so even if it is "pending registration"

Hi,
ASA Firepower module is SFR. You can create policy and object creation in FMC without registering SFR.
After registration only you can make interface configurations, policy deployments etc.

1) Assuming your FMC and ASA are in the same Network, have you registered it so i.e., configure manager add FMC_IP_Address "KEY"

2) is ASA's Mgmt port up ?

3) Have you added the device in FMC and used correct IP address for SFR module on Firewall and the key?

4) Are you able ping FMC <=> SFR Module?
