Firepower L-ASA5516-TAMC = license

Hello,

I'm using ASDM to manage firepower on ASA 5516X and we have  L-ASA5516-TAMC = license and the licenses that i receiced and installed for firepower are "URL and malware " and it's noted on the mail that i received that protection and control are automatically included  but when configuring firepower it is mentioned that protection and control licenses are required.

I have only URL filter and Malware licenses.

Hi Randa,

If you have not, contact Cisco license team with the license key and your Sales order from which they should be able to give the protect+ control license.

The Control & Protect license comes as a paper PAK with the appliance.

Cisco only does eDelivery fulfillment like the URL and Malware licenses.

I'm not sure why this is the case but that's how it's currently done. It causes quite a bit of customer confusion.
