Firepower LIC please comment

Hello.

we bought a firepower lice for 5506-x one year service. however, due to some project work we have to delay the deployment for 4 month. my question is if we never use our 1 year lice until next 6 month will we left 6 month to use. or once we register our liceence than the clock will start.

Hi,

All subscription license starts on the day it was delivered. So if you do not register the license you will lose the subscription period. If you register now you will get license for remaining 8 months.

You would need to buy another subscription if required for future and you have options to request your start date while placing the order please check with your Cisco Sales contact.
