Firepower upgrade stops passing traffic

I have a group of Firepower 2100 devices all in a HA pair and have noticed this similar issue with each pair after upgrading.

We were on code 6.2.3, and then performed upgrade path to 6.4 then to 6.4.0.9

All of this goes well however after some time (upgrades at night) then into the morning traffic just stops flowing and the only fix I could do was to reboot the devices then traffic flows.

No more interruptions since the reboot and seems to be just after the upgrade.

What I have noticed on all upgrades is that the secondary device goes into "disabled" mode.

Has anyone experienced something like this?

Thanks!

Hi,

Going to disabled is part of the upgrade of the active unit after
completing the secondary. I didn't face the same problem but faced others
with same version related to anyconnect not connecting and not passing
traffic. Hence went to 6.5 (fixed the problems) and now in 6.6.1 which is
so far stable.

My advice to move from 6.4
