Dears,
When i block the "Uncategorized URL" i found that most of websites are blocked ! for example the "login.microsoftonline.com"
i checked and this is the output for :
1 - From GUI: Analysis > lookup > URL .. OK! ( Business and Economy, Computer and Internet Info )
2 - From Firepower CLI i issued the command :
system support firewall-engine-debug ( with my source IP and the destination ip of the login.microsoftonline.com )
the output is :
192.168.20.215-50107 > 104.40.240.49-443 6 AS 0 I 0 rule order 6, 'BLOCK_URL (1)', URL Lookup Failed: login.microsoftonline.com waited: 0ms
192.168.20.215-50107 > 104.40.240.49-443 6 AS 0 I 0 rule order 6, 'BLOCK_URL (1)', URL login.microsoftonline.com Matched UnCategorized: 65534 waited: 0ms
as you can see .. the lookup failed ! then the firepower consider the link to be uncategorized .. so it is expected that it will be blocked. this happen with most of websites http/https and with outlook. !! do you have a solution ?
