Firesight 750 Setup

I have just received the new firesight appliance running on version 5.3.1-152 and need to upgrade it to 5.4.0-763.

I have downloaded the iso file Sourcefire_Defense_Center_S3-5.4.0-763-Restore.ISO from Cisco site

Is it going to wipe out all the config after re-imaging?

Also I need to update the following softwares (sensor update, rules etc) offline. Is there any particular version order I need to follow for the upgrade?

Cisco_Network_Sensor_Patch-5.4.0.4-55.sh

Hi,

If you want to upgrade your firesight from 5.3.1 to 5.4.0, why are you using the restore image ?

You can use the upgrade image :Sourcefire_3D_Defence_Center_S3_Upgrade-5.4.0-763.sh which can be found here : https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286259687&softwareid=286271056&release=SEU&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

You can then install the 5.4.1 and then 5.4.1.3

The other updates - rule,geodb,vdb can be installed in any order.
