Hi,

You can restart the services by the CLI the command is : pmtool restartbyid httpsd

If this is 6.0 Defense center then you might also need to restart GUI service by command : pmtool restartbytype gui.

Also you can check if you are getting any errors while accessing GUI in : cd  /var/log/httpd and then

ls the files you will find recent https access files.

Hi Aastha,

thanks for the commands, I tried it but no workyyyy!.... :(

Maybe I need to open a TAC case?

Also I restart using this commad.

root@VMFIRE01:~# /etc/rc.d/init.d/console restart
Stopping Sourcefire Virtual Defense Center 64bit...

...ok

Hi,

Any particular error that you are getting while accessing it ? Did you changed anything wrt to the certificates ?

If you try to get the error messages from the path given earlier.
