Firewall Crash after apply DHCP relay

Hi All,

I am in need some help with a firewall crash that was detected when DHCP Relay Agent was enabled on a VLAN.

Firewall is on version 9.2.4(5) and it crashed when the CPU was hogged:

Process: DHCPRA Monitor, PROC_PC_TOTAL: 1, MAXHOG: 29498, LASTHOG: 29498
...
Process: DHCPRA Monitor, NUMHOG: 1, MAXHOG: 29498, LASTHOG: 29498

I am suspecting that this is hitting the below bug except the fact that the VPN is not sharing the DHCP config:

Please advise if there is any known bug that could have caused the firewall to crash with the above condition.

Thanks and Regards,

Kanes.R

If it crashes after you enable the feature then it is most likely a bug :) You can try moving to the next recommended version 9.4.2 and see if that fixes the problem.

Of course a TAC case won't hurt either :)
