I'm trying to run the Firewall Migration Tool. When i install it, a popup appears that says "Your account requires multifactor authentication to add an additional layer of security when signing in to your account."
I already have MFA configured in my cisco.com profile. I am using my authenticator app and it is working fine. But the Firewall Migration Tool is prompting me to install an app called Duo to use MFA. As stated, I already am using MFA through my authenticator app.
How do I get the Firewall Migration Tool to recognize that MFA is already enabled?

Unfortunately, FMT only currently supports Duo MFA, not any alternative (which may be otherwise supported for your cisco.com account).

Is there a way to bypass using MFA? We are only going to run this program once and I don't see a reason to use MFA since it locks you into one account.
Thanks

I don't believe you can opt out of using MFA for the FMT. Note it uses the Duo MFA instance associated with security.cisco.com - not the same one that is associated with your general cisco.com login.

Having issues with this too. Trying to get it to run through a Firewall that needs either the url's or IPs whitelisted. Is this documented anywhere?

Same issue here. I have opened a TAC.

Get a wifi adapter, tether your phone. The FMT's MFA is garbage and will not work through any firewall or proxy.
